If you're a fan of the SwiftKey keyboard, you may have already heard about the announcement of SwiftKey 3. Many people were concerned that this would be a port of the older software and not the revolutionary new software they were looking for. However, they are correct in their concern as SwiftKey 3 is very much a new design of the old program. For one thing, SwiftKey has been overhauled to work better on various different types of phones including Android phones. You can also make your choice of how much you want to pay for the software.
The free version of the SwiftKey keyboard is still available. It will allow you to type whatever you want as long as you have the free SwiftKey icon to prove you own the copy. The paid version has more features that come with a monthly subscription to the software. These include searchability of words on any type of device, not just mobile phones. It also allows you to customize the software in such a way that will make it easier for you to type without the use of many extra letters.
The app works the same way as it always has. You can choose a word to be typed and the software will read whatever your cursor is currently pointing at. However, you will notice that the onscreen keyboard now shows up at the bottom of the screen, similar to how it was in the older version of the keyboard. There is also a line beneath the words, which allows you to edit them. This allows you to add punctuation and characters to the words. This is especially useful when you know you want to add a comma or a period, but don't know the exact spelling of the word.
